WATER SAFETY

Avril Dooley is the Souvenir Secretary of the RNLI Cheltenham Branch Committee.  She is available to speak particularly to youth groups and Schools on all aspects of water safety.  Talks can be tailored to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities.

TALKS ON THE RNLI

Duncan MacFarlane is also a Speaker for the Cheltenham Branch. He presents talks about the history and work of the RNLI, and includes a slide presentation to illustrate the boats and equipment used.  He is happy to travel anywhere in Gloucestershire to give presentations to groups of all ages.

Frank Austin is also a Speaker for the Cheltenham Branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

He can present  talks on a range of subjects, particularly on RNLI History, and the boats and equipment used.  A slide show is normally included.

Terry Richards- in addition to the  Press Officer function,  he also is a Speaker for the Cheltenham branch of the RNLI. He is available to give talks to groups of all ages, in which are included DVD presentations to illustrate the boats and equipment used. These also cover real life examples of the national activities of the Lifeboats and Lifeguards of the RNLI. In addition, as an Education Volunteer, he is available to give talks to Schools and Youth Groups on all aspects of Water Safety.
